Sherlock: The Musical, Part 2, and Giveaway Results!

Thank you to all the many fanlings who entered my first ever giveaway!!  After assigning each entry a number and plugging that range into the Random Number Generator, the Internet minions selected....

Shezza! Congratulations! I'll need your name and mailing address (instructions sent to you via comment on giveaway post), and then your poster will be on its way via winged monkeys. Or the postal service. Winged monkeys being unreliable and all that.

Thank you again to everyone who entered. I've already started plotting, er planning, my next giveaway!

And now, in no particular order, The Ships!

Ship: Johnlock (Sherlock Holmes/John Watson)

Song: All Of Me- John Legend

Why? This is the perfect Johnlock song. It's like he wrote it with our favorite (blanket statement, don't hate me) consulting couple in mind. Full lyrics here.

Ship: Sherlolly (Sherlock Holmes/Molly Hooper)

Song: Let Me Love You- Ne-Yo

Why? Sherlock's kinda messed up. Don't get me wrong: we love him. But...still. Love isn't always enough.
It can fix a monkey-butt load of stuff though. And look at them! I'm a Johnlocker, but I can't even when it comes to good a Fan-Art. Lyrics here.

Ship: Sheriarty (Sherlock Holmes/Jim Moriarty)

Song: One More Night- Maroon 5

Why? Excuse me being obvious, but they put the "fun" in "dysfunctional." They're good for each other, in a bad, bad way.

"You and I go hard at each other
like we're going to war.
You and I go rough,
we keep throwing things
and slamming the door.
You and I get so damn dysfunctional,
we stopped keeping score.
You and I get sick, yeah,
I know that we can't do this no more."

Ship: Umcroft (Mycroft Holmes/His Umbrella)

Song: Umbrella- Rihanna

Why? Reasons.

Ship: Mystrade (Mycroft Holmes/DI Greg Lestrade)

Song: Undercover Angel- Alan O'Day

Why?

"Crying on my pillow, lonely in my bed,
Then I heard a voice beside me and [he] softly said,'Thunder is your night light, magic is your dream.'
And then as I held [him], [he] said, 'See what I mean?'

Undercover angel, midnight fantasy,
I never had a dream that made sweet love to me.
Undercover angel, answer to my prayer,
You made me know that there's a love for me out there.

Somewhere. Yeah, somewhere."

Just "Awww."

Ship: Shirene (Sherlock Holmes/Irene Adler)

Song: Hurt So Good- John Cougar Mellncamp

Why? I don't ship them, but I think this fits. Can you say unresolved tension, boys and girls? Lyrics here.

Ship: Lestrolly (Molly Hooper/DI Greg Lestrade)

Song: You Always Make Me Smile- Kyle Andrews

Why? They're both very happy people. No division, no problem! Molly's has enough kitten-y division-y stuff to go around. They're so cute together. *Squee*
And there's this. "His face was not scripted. That was Rupert Grave's honest reaction to the dress."

"I like your messy hair. I like the clothes you wear.
I like the way you sing and when you dance with me....

I don't know why, I love you.
I just know I can't stop thinking of you
OH WAIT oh oh oh oh oh
It's cause you make me smile
oh oh oh oh oh
You always make me smile"

**SERIES 3 SPOILER-Y WARNING**

Ship: Mahn (John Watson/Marry Morstan)

Song: Sweet Nothing- Calvin Harris ft. Florance Welch

Why? It's the most canon, and most messed up ship out of the fleet.

"You took my heart and you held it in your mouth
And with a word all my love came rushing out
And every whisper, it's the worst,
Emptied out by a single word
There is a hollow in me now

So I put my faith in something unknown
I'm living on such sweet nothing
But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hold
I'm living on such sweet nothing

And it's hard to learn
And it's hard to love
When you're giving me such sweet nothing
Sweet nothing, sweet nothing
You're giving me such sweet nothing"

**SERIES 3 SPOILER-Y END**

So there you go! Sherlock: The Musical, Part 2. Now you might be saying to yourself, "Self? Is this the end? She's gone through all of Supernatural, Doctor Who, and now Sherlock parts 1 and 2. What more could there be!"

Well, I'm not done yet. And I'm not saying. Let there be much lamenting until next week.
